The Medela DoubleEase and the Medela Double Select are essentailly the same breast pump. In addition to the actual pump, the DoubleEase Breast Pump included a manual pump and a carry bag. The DoubleEase has now been discontinued by Medela and is no longer available from them, but has been replaced by the Double Select. The Double Select pump is less expensive but it does not include those additional items -- the carry bag and the manual pump. The carry bag is still available for purchase as a separate item, but will be discontinued when Medela's supplies run out. The piston and cylinder unit that converts the pump for manual use will remain available for sale for the forseeable future. The Medela Double Select (or DoubleEase) Breast Pump is the ideal double pump for those occasional times when you are separated from your baby. The Double Select is fully automatic and has an autocycling action which simulates the baby's natural nursing pattern. Mom can choose to pump one breast, or save time by pumping both breasts at the same time. The vacuum can be adjusted while pumping, to allow maximum comfort for mom.

• Insulated compartment, with cooling element for insulated milk storage bottles

Transformer for Medela DoubleEase or Double Select Breast Pump

In order to use an electrical outlet to power your pump you will need a Medela transformer. If your breast pump suddenly stops working, it may be that you need to replace your transformer.

The white DoubleEase (Double Select) transformer pictured is for use in the United States of America but we also carry transformers for use in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.
