Sternlein maternity tights are made of a very soft cotton and are great for winter wear. They are 98% hand-picked cotton ( no defolient used), with 2% lycra for a good fit. Their cotton content not only means great comfort, but no pilling, and minimal shrinkage.
Sternlein maternity hose feature fitted feet, flat seams, a secure back panel, high waist, and a hidden adjustable waistband. There is plenty of additional fabric with excellent stretch to accomodate the pregnant mom, and these tights are warm to wear -- great in cool weather. Maternity hose are machine washable in warm water, and can be put in the dryer, although we recommend air drying. Sternlein maternity tights are made in Germany, by a long established family firm, and available at a limited number of locations in the USA. Now available in three colors - black, dark chocolate brown, or charcoal grey. At the current time (November 2005) Sternlein is out of maternity tights while they wait for a new shipment from Germany. We do have some tights remaining -- the shopping cart will not allow you to order tights in colors or sizes that are out of stock. Sternlein have also told us that the charcoal grey tights may no longer be available once our supplies are gone. |  |

Most Ames Walker Sheer Support Maternity Hose are available in five sizes -- Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Queen (except style #226 which is available in S, M, L, XL but no Q). Each style is available in a variety of colors as shown with each style description. For your convenience Ames Walker maternity hose can be washed in the machine and tumble dried. A great investment for the future well being of your legs, and your to maintain comfort during pregnancy. Please note that pantyhose may not be returned for exchange or credit once they have been removed for their packaging. The support panyhose (Ames Walker brand, not Sternlein) are very difficult to put on the first time or two you wear them. Be sure to put on both feet first and then gradually pull the hose up each leg. Many women need help putting them on when they start to wear them. |
