The older style standard breastshields are purchased individually. These breastshields are one piece -- they do not come apart into a shield and connector, so cannot be interchanged with the PersonalFit or SoftFit items. Some women also like to use the small breastshield inserts which fit inside that breastshield. The largest replaceable part on the front control panel of the Pump In Style pumps is the diaphragm cap. For older models this is a large circular cloudy looking piece in the middle of the panel, that seals like a Tupperware dish. It is the part that you hook the tubes onto.
